COLOUR TESTING

Colour Testing

This is probably one of the common stand out colours always used for a powerful attraction of people to the magazine. Like for example a magazine would have a red exclusive on an exclusive story in the magazine. The only thing is that I feel this colour doesn’t go with a huge variety of others.

Blue is also a very good universal colour that I personally like as well and it works sightly more universally than red with other background colours so it is a better recommended colour. This is a good universal colour for both sexes.

Yellow is a very bright and nice looking colour but the brightness is not very well working unless it is on a very dark background. Other =wise if the background is a light colour you are buggered as theatrical would be able to be read.seems more like it is a more feminine colour.

Green is also a very bright colour, similar to the yellow but it can work slightly more universally with backgrounds. But it isn’t one of my favourite colours. Does work with a larger audience though. Boys and girls.

Pink is a good colour for more universal backgrounds, can be used on lighter backgrounds but themain problem is that it is refered to as a very female colour so wouldn’t work with the guys.

Black is the standard colour and has a nice bold stand out style but the problem is that it would not work with a darker coloured magazine but it works as standard in most magazines.
